Where one student received several offers, that is one engagement. We show results as evidence of a method — not as a promise. No responsible advisor guarantees an outcome.

How we work

One advisor, carrying the whole arc.

“Positioning that is honest, preparation that is disciplined, and essays that sound like the student on their best day.”

Families rarely need a single service. They need a single advisor who can carry the whole arc: the course plan that precedes the application, the writing that carries it, the interview that closes it, and the career thinking that follows.

We do not take every case — only those where student and advisor are genuinely suited to each other. Admission is the milestone, not the mission: the real work is helping a young person become the strongest version of themselves, which is precisely what universities are judging.

That is coaching, done step by step — and it continues after the offer arrives.

The practice

Deliberately comprehensive.

Seven fronts, one strategy — sequenced on a single calendar so no deadline ever arrives as a surprise.

01

Course planning

Admission averages are protected all year through course selection and term-by-term monitoring — not rescued the week before.

02

Application essays

Structured revision rounds sharpen the argument while keeping the student's own voice on the page.

03

Interview preparation

Mock panels and answer frameworks, rehearsed until they sound unrehearsed. The interview is treated as the deciding round.

04

Language preparation

Coaching aimed at the exact band profile a programme requires — not a generic total. Targets met, scores submitted the same day.

05

Scholarship candidacy

Entrance awards follow from the average we protect all year. Files are built to a scholarship reader's standard from the first draft.

06

Essay competitions

Supervision, not substitution: a defensible question, a disciplined argument, and evidence held to a serious reader's standard.

07

Career & internships

Grounded in how Western and multilateral employers actually read applications — the difference between years of trial and error and a direct path.

Selected cases

Every result, a real student and a real starting point.

A selection, reproduced from original offers with identifying details removed. Chosen for breadth — the comprehensive service, practised rather than promised.

The offers themselves

Reproduced from originals — identifying details removed.

In their words

Students write first, unprompted, when the news lands.

The advisor

Coach and mentor, before consultant.

Jack has guided families through university admissions since 2017 — on both sides of the Pacific, and at every level from first undergraduate applications to funded doctorates. He began teaching in Canada in 2017 and has served on the faculty of leading international schools in Shanghai since 2022.

The practice is deliberately comprehensive: course planning, writing instruction, language preparation, application documents, scholarship candidacy, internships, and career planning — the last informed by a working knowledge of Western employment markets that can spare a graduate years of misdirected effort.
